Beginning on Friday, Feb. 1, the Kids ‘N Community Foundation will kick off our 2012-2013 Mystery Puck Fundraiser. This marks the third season that the Foundation has held Mystery Puck Nights to support its annual giving. Over the past two seasons, the Mystery Puck Fundraiser has raised over $80,000 for the Kids ‘N Community Foundation. This year’s series will feature four different themed pucks sold at the Kids ‘N Community Foundation kiosk (Section 129) on Feb. 1, March 9, April 20 and April 25.

Each Mystery Puck is autographed by a Hurricanes player to be revealed after purchase. Every Mystery Puck Night, 300 pucks will sell for $30 each once doors open at 6 p.m. until they sell out. There is a limit of two pucks per person. Each puck also comes with a certificate of uuthenticity and a tax receipt.

All proceeds from the Mystery Puck Nights benefit the Kids ‘N Community Foundation. Please visit the Kids ‘N Community kiosk at Section 129 to purchase a Mystery Puck and support the Foundation.

The Kids ‘N Community Foundation raises money to support the growth of children’s charities throughout North Carolina. Thanks to continued support from players and the corporate community, the Foundation has funded scholarship programs, youth hockey, educational efforts, children's health programs, the arts and other causes. In the Fall of 2012, the Kids ‘N Community Foundation awarded $200,000 to four organizations: InterAct of Wake County, Marbles Kids Museum, Triangle Family Services and YMCA of the Triangle. Funds raised from the Mystery Puck Nights will help support the Foundation’s Spring Grant Cycle.
