CAREER
Selected by the Hurricanes in the fifth round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft… Had 10 points (5g, 5a) in 34 career collegiate games with Wisconsin (WCHA) entering the 2012-13 season… Appeared in 91 career United States Hockey League (USHL) games prior to his college career, totaling 36 points (20g, 16a)… Skated for Williston Prep (MA) in 2008-09, earning 19 points (8g, 11a) in 29 games… Played his first USHL season for Chicago in 2009-10, totaling six goals and four assists (10 points) in 34 games… Earned 26 points (14g, 12a) in 57 games with Muskegon (USHL) in 2010-11… His father, Bob Woods, played professionally in the AHL, IHL and ECHL, and currently serves as an assistant coach for the Anaheim Ducks.
