Selected by the Hurricanes in the fourth round, 120th overall, in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft… Had 31 points (4g, 27a) in 77 career United States Hockey League (USHL) games with the Chicago Steel entering the 2012-13 season… Will play for the Steel in 2012-13 and is committed to Colorado College of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) for the 2013-14 season… Played for the Colorado Thunderbirds prior to beginning his USHL career… Appeared in his first USHL season with Chicago in 2010-11, also spending time with the Colorado Thunderbirds’ U-16 and U-18 squads… Netted one goal in 17 games with Chicago in 2010-11.
