Public Invited to Choose 2003-04 Seat Locations For 24-Game Plans

RALEIGH, N.C. (July 24, 2003) – The Carolina Hurricanes will host a Select-A-Seat open house on Wednesday, July 30 from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event is open to the general public and will give interested fans the opportunity to choose their seats and purchase their 24-game mini plans for the 2003-04 season. Fans interested in 10-game mini plans may also place a deposit for their 2003-04 packages.

Ticket locations for 24-game mini plans will be tagged and available for purchase during the Select-A-Seat open house. The RBC Center’s hockey configuration – glass, dasherboards and protective nets – will be in place to give potential plan holders a true view of their seats. Hot dogs and Pepsi products will be available free of charge to fans attending. Parking also will be free of charge.

Hurricanes ticket prices will remain unchanged from the 2002-03 season. 24-game ticket packages offer fans up to 23 percent savings off of gate ticket prices, guaranteed location for Stanley Cup playoffs tickets and a premium parking booklet option. 24-game ticket packages begin at $456 per seat and are available in most of the RBC Center’s seating locations.
