Team takes to the ice with first official practices on Sept. 12

RALEIGH, N.C. (Sept. 10, 2003) – Jim Rutherford, President and General Manager of the Carolina Hurricanes, today announced the roster for the team’s 2003 training camp. The Hurricanes will open training camp with the first official practices on Friday, Sept. 12 at the RecZone in Raleigh. Team physicals will take place on Thursday, Sept. 11 at Cary Family Practice.

The team will be split into two groups to start training camp. On Sept. 12, Group 1 will skate at the RecZone from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. and Group 2 will skate from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
