The Carolina Hurricanes continue their seven-game home stand on Tuesday at 7 p.m. against the St. Louis Blues. The Hurricanes won the first two games of the home stand against Montreal and Buffalo, but have dropped the last three contests to Anaheim, Detroit and Phoenix.
Right wing Jeff O’Neill currently leads the Hurricanes in points (20) and assists (16), and earned his 400th career NHL/Hurricanes point with his assist on the game-winning goal at Boston on Dec. 20, and is now one point shy of Pat Verbeek (403) on the franchise’s all-time points list. Forward Josef Vasicek leads the team in goals (9), power-play goals (5) and ranks fourth with 16 points.

The Hurricanes and the Blues meet for the only time this season on Tuesday at the RBC Center. Last season the Blues took both games in the teams’ two-game series. On Oct. 15, St. Louis scored a 2-1 overtime victory at the RBC Center and, on Jan. 20, skated to a 5-3 win at Savvis Center. Pavol Demitra (0g, 3a) led St. Louis with three points in the two games while Ron Francis (1g, 2a) led the Hurricanes. Carolina posts a 20-35-5-1 all-time record against the Blues, including an 11-17-2-0 home mark and a 9-18-3-1 record in St. Louis.
