RALEIGH, NC – Bill Nowicki, Director of Ticket Operations for the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, announced Friday that the National Hockey League had released additional tickets for sale to the general public for Saturday’s Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals between the Carolina Hurricanes and the New Jersey Devils. Good seats are available in many price categories for the game, which begins at 2 p.m. and will be televised nationally by NBC.
Carolina reached the Eastern Conference Semifinals by virtue of a 4-2 series win against the Montreal Canadiens in the quarterfinal round. The Hurricanes closed out the series against the Canadiens with a 2-1 overtime win in Game 6 at Montreal on Tuesday at the Bell Centre. The Devils swept the New York Rangers in their best-of-seven quarterfinal series to advance to the second round. The series marks the third time in six years that the Devils and Hurricanes have faced each other in the postseason.
