RALEIGH, NC—
Jim Rutherford, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, announced today that the team has reassigned left wing Ryan Bayda to Albany of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Bayda (5’11’’, 185 lbs.) was recalled to Carolina on an emergency basis for Thursday night’s game against Phoenix, and registered three hits and two penalty minutes in 14:49 of ice time. In 75 career NHL games, all with Carolina, Bayda has scored eight goals and earned 14 assists (22 points).
