LEXUS SIGNS ON AS CHAMPIONS CLUB TITLE SPONSOR
Multi-year partnership includes arena signage, vehicle displays, advertisements

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE—January 17, 2007

RALEIGH, NC—Michael Hurley, Director of Corporate Sales for the 2006 Stanley Cup champion Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that Lexus has signed a multi-year commitment as the title sponsor of the Champions Club at the RBC Center.

“This is a major commitment by Lexus to the Carolina Hurricanes and the RBC Center,” said Hurley. “We couldn’t be more pleased to have such a highly-regarded luxury auto maker as a title sponsor for the Champions Club.”

Lexus’ sponsorship of the Champions Club includes prominent signage visible throughout the RBC Center’s seating bowl, as well as Lexus’ logo at the entrances to the Champions Club, and on collateral materials in the Champions Club such as employee’s uniforms, cups and napkins. Also included in the partnership are vehicle displays, tickets in the Champions Club and in-game, television, radio and website promotions for the Champions Club.

“We are honored to have our name attached to the Champions Club at the RBC Center, and proud to be connected with a great organization such as the Carolina Hurricanes,” said Richard Nimphie, Chief Operating Officer for Johnson Lexus.

The Champions Club is an exclusive area of 330 seats in the north end zone on the second (club) level of the RBC Center. Information on Champions Club tickets is available at www.CarolinaHurricanes.com or by calling 1-866-NHL-CANES.

The Hurricanes return to the RBC Center to face the Washington Capitals on Thursday night at the RBC Center (7 p.m., FSN South, Hurricanes Radio Network) in the first game of a three-game home stand.
