Adams Suspended Two Games
Carolina winger will miss games at Florida and Tampa Bay
RALEIGH, NC— The National Hockey League today announced that Carolina Hurricanes right wing Craig Adams has been suspended for two games as a result of a high sticking incident at the 16:05 mark of the third period of Carolina’s 3-2 overtime win against Toronto on Tuesday. Adams was assessed a minor penalty on the play.
The Hurricanes take to the road for a three-game road swing beginning Thursday at Florida (7:30 p.m., FSN South, Hurricanes Radio Network). Carolina will return home following their Dec. 26 game at Madison Square Garden against the New York Rangers, to face the Boston Bruins on Dec. 28 at the RBC Center.
