Guy Behind the Guy: Scenes from the Spectrum
The Canes are in Philadelphia today for the final NHL game in the Spectrum.  Nostalgia will be the theme of the afternoon, as the Flyers close the book on a major part of their own history. There are even t-shirt for sale with our logo and the Flyers' logo commemorating the final NHL game in the Spectrum.

I've heard lots of great stories from our own traveling party today.  Jim Rutherford talked about seeing Kate Smith sing "God Bless America" before a game (live and in person, not the recording that plays just about everywhere to this day). Ron Francis and Skip Cunningham talked about just how tough it was to win in this building, and the bruises one could count on having after a game here. And of course all the Flyers folks around here are full of stories from the glory days of the Broad Street Bullies.

I don't have a ton of time to write, so I figured I would do my talking with BlackBerry photography.
