Scott Walker Undergoes Surgery on Left Hand
Right wing expected to miss six weeks of action
Jim Rutherford, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that forward Scott Walker underwent successful surgery on his left hand this morning. Dr. Harrison Tuttle of Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic performed the procedure to repair a torn ligament in Walker’s hand, and the Hurricanes’ winger is expected to miss six weeks of action.
