It’s a (roughly) weekly podcast featuring myself and Manager of Media Relations/Broadcast Coordinator Kyle Hanlin that you can find right here on our site.  We’ll post new episodes in a noticeable place when we have them, and you’ll soon be able to access them through the podcast channel on our video player.

We’ve also added The Hurricanes Report to our existing official podcast (formerly just Kaiton's Corner) if you’d like to subscribe through iTunes.  If you already subscribe, great, you’ll get them when they’re posted.  If you’d like to subscribe now, follow the directions here.

This morning’s debut episode covers the two west coast games, previews some upcoming contests and also contains the uncreatively-named “Five Things” feature, in which we pick five specific topics to discuss.  To give you a sneak peek, this week’s five things, are (1) The fact that the Canes haven’t played a “great” game yet boast a 3-1-1 record, (2) Brandon Sutter’s early contributions, (3) The play of the Canes defensemen, (4) Ryan Bayda and other forwards who have stepped up offensively and (5) A goaltending controversy?

After a few trial runs, our eventual plan is to broadcast the show live on the internet and have you, the listener, submit questions for us to answer on the air.  If you have a question now, shoot it on over to webmaster@carolinahurricanes.com.  Even if you don’t have a question, we’d love to hear your feedback.

The team has a travel day today, so no practice, but they’ll be back at the RecZone Tuesday and Wednesday before departing to Pittsburgh.
