Tonight, several Canes players’ wives will be in the Time Warner Cable Box Office exchanging voucher for non-perishable items.  When you donate your items, you will receive a voucher that can be redeemed for a buy one get one free ticket offer for tonight AS WELL AS an “enter to win” form that will qualify you for a player autographed replica jersey.

The chance to win these jerseys will be in place at all three of the upcoming drives (food, toy and clothing).  Our players’ wives will be assisting with each, and the jerseys given away will be based on which wife (or girlfriend) participates.  For example, tonight, if the volunteer crew consists of the significant others of Eric Staal, Cam Ward, Sergei Samsanov and Rod Brind’Amour…we will then raffle one jersey for each corresponding player. 

I like this because it adds even more incentive to donate items to these great organizations.  Even if you are a season ticket holder and you do not need the “BOGO” offer, isn’t a couple of cans worth the chance to win an autographed jersey?  Make sure you legibly fill-out all of the information as the jerseys will need to be delivered at a later date.

All of the food collected tonight will be donated to the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina.  This Food Bank is the central distribution center that donates food to 36 counties in our region and over 900 organizations (soup kitchens, rescue missions, etc.)
