Two Canes Prospects Earn OHL Honors

Murphy's numbers were already stellar when the Hurricanes chose him in the sixth round of their most recent draft this summer, and this year is no different. He posted a 5-2-0-0 record with a 1.72 goals-against average in December and leads the OHL in goals-against average (2.00) and save percentage (.944). Although Belleville is one of the better teams in the league, only two other goaltenders have faced more shots than Murphy.
