As if we did not already have the attention of the hockey world, a 9-0 victory to extend a winning streak to nine games certainly woke up a few extra people last night.

Here is a breakdown of some of the media the Canes will be doing today. This list is still developing in terms of the exact times of the interviews and some possible additions in the works, so check back here later as I add to it. Links have been provided to several of the radio stations, which do stream live and may post interviews online after the fact.
  • 11:11 a.m.: Associate Head Coach Ron Francis joined CHUM in Vancouver to discuss the Hurricanes winning streak
  • 11:30 a.m.: Assistant Coach Tom Rowe was interviewed by Mike Hogan on Fan 590 in Toronto
  • 12:40 p.m.: Eric Staal will jump on the phone with Darren Dreger and Bill Watters on AM640 in Toronto
  • 4:25 p.m.: Rod Brind'Amour will join David Glenn on 850 The Buzz
  • 6:00 p.m.: Erik Cole will be Mike Maniscalco's guest on Canes Corner on 99.9 The Fan, broadcasted live from Bass Lake Draft House in Holly Springs
  • 8:05 p.m. Paul Maurice will call in to the Drew Remenda Show, which is on CKOM in Saskatoon.
  • 12:25 p.m. Cam Ward talked to Mike Zeisberger of the Toronto Sun about his successes this season and his prospects for the Canadian Olympic Team next year. The story will appear in Sun newspapers across Canada including Toronto, Calgary, Ottawa, Kingston, Winnipeg and Edmonton.
  • 5:30 Hurricanes President and General Manager Jim Rutherford will join Mike Maniscalco on 99.9 The Fan, as Maniscalco fills in on The Insiders this afternoon
  • 6:10 Rutherford will visit with 850 The Buzz's Morgan Patrick

    Thursday
  • 4:22 p.m. Jim Rutherford will be Commissioner Gary Bettman's guest on Bettman's weekly radio show, which is simulcast on XM Home Ice and The NHL Network
