Hurricanes-Penguins Game Moved to Oct. 14

RALEIGH, NC—Jim Rutherford, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the Hurricanes’ home game against the Pittsburgh Penguins will be played on Wednesday, Oct. 14 at 7 p.m.

The game was originally scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 15, which is the opening day of the North Carolina State Fair, held at the State Fairgrounds, adjacent to the RBC Center.
