Hurricanes Activate Chad LaRose from IR
Forward has missed team’s last seven games with an upper-body injury
RALEIGH, NC—Jim Rutherford, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, announced today that the team has activated forward Chad LaRose from injured reserve. LaRose is eligible to play in tonight’s game in Toronto.
LaRose, 27, was originally placed on injured reserve on Feb. 5, and has missed Carolina’s last seven games with an upper-body injury. The Fraser, MI, native has totaled three goals and six assists (9 points) in 35 games this season for the Hurricanes. He also missed 17 games with a lower-body injury from Dec. 11 – Jan. 16.
