Promotions: Events for Sunday's Buffalo Game
We have a big day planned for Sunday and I don’t want you all to miss a thing. So take notes, tell your friends and grab your sunscreen (don’t mess things up, Mother Nature).

Setting the tone for the day will be our first Mini Mascot Olympics, hosted by Stormy from 2:45-3:15 LIVE on the front lawn of the RBC Center.
Stormy will be joined by various mascots including Thrash from the Atlanta Thrashers, Slapshot from the Washington Capitals, Rufus from the Bobcats and Sir Purr from the Carolina Panthers.
During the front lawn party (guaranteed to be filled with laughs), mascots will compete in the joust, obstacle course, bull riding and slap shot booth. Ron the Ref will be joining us to make sure the competition is fair and under control! (Good luck with that Ron). Come out and be a part of Stormy's Mini Mascot Olympics. As with all front lawn parties, admission is FREE! (Please note normal parking fees apply!)
Following the conclusion of the mascot event, the front lawn will open for normal activities including the Big Head Dog band, inflatables, street hockey, food and beverage and booths from our corporate partners. Also in addition to our usual inflatables, the joust and bull will stay around for our guests to enjoy. Unless the bull gets loose, then we will just have the joust…
(Our legal team just informed me I had to state that was a joke and that the bull is not real, it is mechanically operated. Ha). We will party until 4:45 and then head inside for some hockey.
During the game we will be celebrating Stormy’s birthday. As usual the intermissions will be packed with mascot fun including musical chairs and the YouTube sensation mascot hockey. Over 25 mascots will be in attendance. (Someone is popular).
During the first intermission we will be recognizing former members of the Storm Squad in honor of the team's 10th Anniversary. We will have close to 20 former members in attendance.
Following the game we will host our final FS Carolinas Slap Shot Sunday on the ice for individuals aged 16 and under. If you are interested, pick up a waiver at the Promotions and Fan Development Kiosk located at section 108/109.
And with that I am exhausted! Make sure you enjoy the beautiful day and say thanks to those that deserve it!
