April 3 vs. New Jersey Devils

On the way in fans will receive a team poster and we have once again teamed with the NCDOT on this giveaway.
At the end of the game the Canes will return to the ice for the Jersey Off a Player’s Back ceremony. Each year I hear rumblings that the process is all rigged. It is not. I promise! The giveaways are spread among randomly selected season ticket holders, corporate partners, the enter to win component and random winners throughout the game. Recently three of our four enter to wins have been contacted, which is one of my favorite parts of my job. While the Facebook, CanesConnect and enter to win winner from March 27 have been picked, fans can still stop outside of section 108 to win and receive a jersey from Rod Brind'Amour on the ice after the game! This will stay open through the end of the second intermission. ALSO, stop by the Kids 'N Community Foundation booth outside of section 129 and bid on a Zach Boychuk jersey. Help a great cause and head down to the ice for an unforgettable moment with you and Zach!
April 8 vs. Montreal Canadiens
We recently announced that we will be hosting a lunch from 11:30 to 1:00 p.m. on the front lawn of the RBC Center. Weather permitting, the cookout will feature appearances by Tuomo Ruutu, Tim Gleason and Alexandre Picard, discounted food prices, enter to win opportunities on prizes including a team-signed jersey and other entertainment opportunities including Stormy! Ruutu and Gleason will be signing from 11:30-12:15. It is going to be a great day!
A few hours later we will play some hockey...
Don't forget puck drop is a half hour later than usual, so the front lawn party will get going at 5:30 p.m. Aftershock will put on an hour and 45 minute set of classic 80's rock.
The first 14,000 fans will receive a Canes hat on the way in. This is the fourth straight year Chevrolet has sponsored this giveaway. The series has seen a red hat with the secondary logo, black hat with 10th anniversary mark, grey trucker style hat and this year’s selection. It is becoming more and more rare go anywhere in our community and not see a Canes license plate, decal, shirt, hockey sweater and/or one of the Canes hats sponsored by Chevy. It has been a great partnership!
That concludes Fan Appreciation on the home front. As always I am open to suggestions on future opportunities. The last regular season game includes a Canes Cool Bar at the ORIGINAL Carolina Ale House in Creekside.
See you all soon!
