Community: 2010 Charity Golf Tournament
|Index | Archive|
The golf tournament has become a great way for the Foundation and Hurricanes supporters to kick off the new season. Foursomes are paired with a Carolina Hurricanes player, coach, front office executive or broadcaster for a round of golf. The day is capped off with a post-tournament reception where the top three low net and low gross teams are announced and on-course games/contest winners receive their prizes.
We’ve had the opportunity the past few years to host a VIP Pairings Party prior to the tournament where Hurricanes players, coaches, broadcasters and front office staff join participants and guests for the revelation of pairings. The pairings party included silent and live auctions, open bar, food and the tournament gift bag (valued at $250) distribution. We hope to continue this unique part of our tournament again this year.
Tuomo Ruutu is as hard hitting on the course as he is on the ice, or perhaps Eric Staal could teach you a few things about your backswing. Even though you’d be enjoying a unique experience on the course, your participation in the golf tournament will have a direct, positive effect on the lives of children and their families in our community.
Again, if you have questions or would like more information on this year’s 13th Annual Kids ‘N Community Foundation golf tournament, please email the community relations department at firstname.lastname@example.org
We hope to see you on the course!
