- Minny downs host Detroit 3-1 to win tourney.
- Canes win!! Skinner from Dalpe at 2:36 of 2nd OT.
- Oh, and it's 4 min. There's a good deal of confusion, but it's fun to watch.
- 3 min OT is 3-on-3!
- Skinner put it in the net, but his going to the net and TB goalie moving backward jarred net loose, so no goal. We go on to 2nd OT.
- Apparently OT is 4-on-4 for 4 min, the 4-on-4 for 3 min, then a shootout. Why it's not just 7 min of 4-on-4, I'm not sure.
- Canes and Bolts headed to OT in 3rd place game in Traverse City.
- TB takes a 2-min high sticking penalty at 12:18 of 3rd. Canes PP.
- TB's Wright knots the score 3-3 at 11:25 of 3rd.
- Jared Staal puts the Canes ahead 3-2 at 7:47 of the 3rd period. Unassisted. #TBturnover
- We're back underway in Traverse City. 3rd period, game tied 2-2.
- 2nd per ends with teams tied 2-2. Canes lead shots 20-14.
- Justin Shugg scores at 18:29 of 2nd to tie the game 2-2. Assist to Matt Caria.
- Rasmus Rissanen takes a 2-min holding penalty at 15:34 of 2nd. TB PP.
- TB's Adam Butcher scores a PPG at 2:14 of second per to give Bolts a 2-1 lead.
- Lightning and Canes tied 1-1 after 1st. Canes lead shots 14-5.
- Matt Kennedy w/ a hard-working power-play goal from in front of net at 17:26 to make it 1-1. Assists to Skinner and Caria.
- TB's Butcher whistled for cross checking at 16:06. Canes PP.
- Canes PK holds TB PP to 1 shot. Back on even terms.
- MacDonald takes 2-min hooking at 10:18. TB PP.
- Tampa Bay draws first blood. Butcher's goal makes it 1-0 Bolts at 5:41.
- Lightning-Canes 3rd-place game is underway here in Traverse City!
- Tonight's lineup for 3rd-place game essentially the same as last night's. Levi will play. Passingham in net instead of Murphy.
