- 4:58 p.m.: Ryan Murphy breaks up Petr Mrazek's shutout at 15:41 of 3rd! Canes trail 4-1.
- 4:57 p.m.: Five min remaining in Canes v. Wings game. DET leads 4-0, leads shots 31-22. #CanesTC
- 4:51 p.m.: Under 10 minutes left in 3rd period. Canes trail Wings 4-0. Wings lead shots 29-19.
- 4:46 p.m.: Gustav Nyquist with a goal-scorer's goal at 5:53 makes it 4-0 for Detroit. #CanesTC
- 4:42 p.m.: Detroit take a 3-0 lead on Ryan Sproul's second goal of the game at 2:31 of 3rd.
- 4:38 p.m.: Jared Staal called for hooking just 21 seconds into the third. Wings to the PP.
