Three Hurricanes Players on All-Star Ballot

RALEIGH, NC – The National Hockey League today released the 2012 NHL All-Star Fan Ballots for voting for the starters of the 2012 Tim Hortons NHL All-Star Game to take place in Ottawa, Ont., on Jan. 29. The Carolina Hurricanes are represented on the ballot by forwards Jeff Skinner and Eric Staal, as well as goaltender Cam Ward. All three of Carolina’s representatives played in the 2011 All-Star Game in Raleigh.

The 2012 NHL All-Star Fan Balloting begins on Monday, Nov. 14. For more information, and to participate in the balloting, please visit www.NHL.com/vote. Ballots will be available in eight languages, and eligible fans in the United States and Canada who vote online can enter to win a sweepstakes grand prize of a trip for two to 2012 All-Star Weekend. The NHL will release updated balloting results every Tuesday beginning Nov. 22.
