Canes to Partner with First Night Raleigh
Fans to receive complimentary wristbands for the New Year\'s Eve event.
RALEIGH, NC – Doug Warf, Vice President of Marketing for the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has partnered with Artsplosure, the presenter of First Night Raleigh, to provide added value to fans attending the team’s Dec. 31 game at PNC Arena against the Montreal Canadiens.

Starting Wed., Dec. 11, fans with tickets for the Dec. 31 game can pick up a wristband from the PNC Arena Box Office that will allow access to all First Night Raleigh events. First Night Raleigh events begin at 2 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, and conclude at midnight, following the fireworks.

For fans that do not pick up wristbands in advance, wristbands will be available on the PNC Arena concourse adjacent to Section 108 during the Dec. 31 game. Wristbands picked up during the game will allow access to select 10 p.m. First Night Raleigh shows, as well as priority space near the main stage for the midnight fireworks display. Headliners for First Night Raleigh’s 10 p.m. shows are variety entertainer Mark Nizer at Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts, and Big Sam’s Funky Nation on Fayetteville Street’s main stage.
