Canes Announce 2014-15 Mini-Season Ticket Plans
Team offers 26-game plan and three different 12-game options
The 26-game plan covers more than half of the Hurricanes’ home schedule, and includes the team’s season opener on Oct. 10 against the New York Islanders. Of the 26 games in the plan, 22 fall between Thursday and Sunday. The 26-game package includes 18 different opponents, including the Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles Kings and multiple games against Eastern Conference foes Pittsburgh, Detroit, Washington, Philadelphia, Boston, Toronto and the New York Rangers. Fans who purchase 26-game plans will receive three complimentary game vouchers per plan, as well as special lanyards honoring their tenures with the Hurricanes that provide access to special season-ticket holder entrances and escalating discounts based on tenure at The Eye team store. Full-season ticket and 26-game plan holders who purchase their tickets by the conclusion of the Hurricanes’ Summerfest on July 26 also will receive gift cards valued at seven percent of their plan purchase to use toward PNC Arena food and beverage purchases throughout the season.
All three 12-game packages include two complimentary game vouchers per plan, and fans who purchase a 12-game plan by July 26 will also receive gift cards valued at 3 percent of their plan purchase to use toward PNC Arena food and beverage.
The 12-game Red Plan is filled with games that fall on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with the exception of the team’s Dec. 29 game against Montreal. The Red Plan features 12 different opponents, including Detroit, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Boston and San Jose.
The White Plan boasts 11 different weeknight opponents, including Pittsburgh, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas and Washington.
The Black Plan offers 12 unique opponents, and 11 of the 12 games take place on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays. It is the only 12-game package that includes the team’s opening game against the Islanders and the visit from the Stanley Cup champion Kings. The Black Plan also features showdowns with Philadelphia, St. Louis, Washington, Anaheim and Boston.
Mini-season ticket plans provide fans with many of the same advantages of full-season ticket plans, including a discount off the gate ticket price, a flexible 0% interest payment plan, the chance to purchase game tickets before they go on sale to the general public and priority status for ticket packages for the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Mini-plan holders also have access to the Ticket Exchange Program, which allows fans to exchange unused plan tickets to one of the team’s 10 pre-selected exchange game nights. The voucher and exchange programs are based on availability, and some limitations may apply.
