Canes Summer Fun Fest

The Second Annual Canes Summer Fun Fest is set for Friday, July 24, at 6:00 p.m. at the RBC Center. The event includes live music, interactive inflatables and games, free giveaways, local mascots, guest speakers from the Hurricanes, discounted concessions and a showing of a classic Hurricanes game. Parking and admission are free to the general public.

The ‘Canes Summer Fun Fest will also be fans’ first chance to view available seat locations for the 2009-10 season, which will kick off in October. Fans will have the opportunity to roam the RBC Center and pick out seats for full season ticket packages and 26-game plans.

6 p.m.

- Front lawn opens, including street hockey, eight inflatables, sledding on artificial snow, interactive games, local mascots, free giveaways and food and beverage at discount prices. Live music also begins, and will last until 8:00 p.m.
- Select-A-Seat for the public begins inside the RBC Center

8 - 9 p.m.

- State of the Carolina Hurricanes
- Guest speakers from the Carolina Hurricanes players and coaches including Erik Cole, Chad Larose and Glen Wesley
- Hosted by TV play-by-play voice John Forslund
- Q&A with the audience (time permitting)

9 p.m.
|
- Playing of Game 7 from the 2009 Playoffs Carolina Hurricanes vs New Jersey Devils.
- Inflatables and street hockey conclude
