Caniac Carnival 2009

The 10th Annual Caniac Carnival will be taking place at the RBC Center on Sunday, September 20. The event features activities for individuals of all ages including rides, interactive games, a live band and more. There will also be an autograph session with select Hurricanes players, live interviews with players and coaches and a special Canes practice.

10th Annual Caniac Carnival Timeline
9:00 a.m.

• Sign-in for the Crazy Caniac Challenge Opens
• The Eye, the official team store, opens
9:30 a.m. • Autograph wristband distribution begins
10:00 a.m. • Caniac Carnival Rides and Entertainment Begin
• Caniac Carnival Rides and Entertainment Begin
• Crazy Caniac Challenge (two laps around the RBC Center)
• Box Office opens
11:00 a.m. • Building opens for autograph session participants (wristband required)
11:30 a.m. -12:45 p.m. • RBC Bank Autograph Session
1:00 p.m. • RBC Center opens for General Public
1:15 p.m. • Select Players, coaches address the fans before practice (RBC Center lower bowl)
2:00 p.m. • Carolina Hurricanes Open Practice
3:00 p.m. • Caniac Carnival Rides and Entertainment End

Frequently Asked Questions

Where does the Caniac Carnival take place?
The Carnival takes place on the South side of the RBC Center.  The South side is directly behind the scoreboard of Carter-Finley Stadium, home to the NC State football team. It takes place from 10:00-3:00.
Do I need a ticket for the Carolina Hurricanes practice?
No.
How do I attend the autograph session?
In order to attend the autograph session fans must have a wristband which will be distributed on the morning of Sunday, September 20 beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Where will wristbands for the autograph session be given out?
Wristbands will be distributed in a designated area next to the Time Warner Cable Box Office.

When will the RBCCenter open for the live interviews with the players and coaches and for practice?
Individuals can enter the RBC Center at 1:00 p.m.
