In an effort to help raise awareness for childhood cancer, the Carolina Hurricanes will host their annual St. Baldrick's Night at PNC Arena on March 22. From 2010-2015, the event has raised $317,440.40 and shaved 1,040 heads!
The first 185 fans willing to shave their heads in support of St. Baldrick's prior to the game on the arena's South Plaza will each receive two (2) tickets to the game against the Buffalo Sabres and have their picture taken with the MyEyeDr. Storm Squad. Fans should pre-register to do so by clicking here.
Beginning at 4:30 p.m. and running until 6:30 p.m., Carolina Hurricanes in-game host Chris Edge will emcee as a team of stylists from SportClips shave heads on PNC Arena's South Plaza.
The Hurricanes will host Phineas S., a St. Baldrick's ambassador, the day of the game. Phineas will attend the Canes morning skate, attend a meet and greet with the players and sound the siren. Click here to learn more about Phineas' story.
