I like to follow some of my favorite celebs like Britney Spears and Eva Longoria but really I like to follow my friends to see what they are up to. What is the wallpaper on your cell phone? My “lock” screen is a picture with friends and my “home” screen is a picture of Britney Spears that was taken during her concert this past summer. If you could have been born in another country, what country would you have liked to have grown up in? I can’t imagine having been born and raised anywhere else but the USA! What is your favorite app on your phone or iPod? I would have to say my Google Maps App definitely comes in handy a lot, but my favorite is my Pinterest App – I love pinning, and thanks to my app, I can pin on the go!  How did you meet your best friend?My best friend and I initially met in kindergarten; we were in the same class. We didn’t become really close until high school and we were inseparable. If you could take home one animal from the zoo, what would it be and why? I would want to take home a giraffe. I LOVE the giraffes. They seem so sweet and have such pretty coats. When did you go to your first NHL hockey game? I went to my first NHL game while I was in elementary school when the Canes played in Greensboro. What is your dream job, other than being a member of the Storm Squad? I have always wanted to host my own television show. I just think it would be so much fun and entertaining. What is the strangest thing in your refrigerator right now? I have one of those gel masks you put on over your eyes in my refrigerator. That is really the only strange thing I can think of. If you could write a mission statement for your life, what would it say? Just do it. What is your favorite quote? “I like people with a sense of individuality. I love expression and anything awkward and imperfect, because that's natural and that's real.” – Marc Jacobs Would you rather be a princess or a rock star? I would much rather be a princess. I can’t really see my lifestyle being one of a rock star. Where are you from? I was originally born in Durham but grew up in the Cary, NC area. What is your least favorite subject that you studied in school? I never cared for geography - wish I would have though! What is the most memorable sporting event that you’ve attended? It was really amazing to be a part of the 2011 NHL All-Star weekend. There were so many exciting things that happened that weekend, for the city of Raleigh and the Hurricanes. It is definitely the most memorable sporting event I have ever attended thus far. What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you as a member of the Storm Squad? I was always nervous that I was going to fall down the stairs, so much that I forgot it was possible to fall UP the stairs. I have tripped up the steps once or twice, but it has always been towards the top of the stairs so not many people saw... or so I like to think. Do you speak any other languages? People think my best friend and I speak in a different language – we just abbreviate everything but always know what each other means. What is your favorite flavor of cupcake? I like to stick with the basic, vanilla with butter cream icing. Maybe some rainbow sprinkles. Do you prefer Jersey Shore at the actual Jersey Shore, in Miami or in Italy best? I prefer the actual Jersey Shore. It is way more interesting to see them in their natural environment. If you were on American Idol, what song would you choose to sing? If I could sing, I would choose “Unwritten” by Natasha Bedingfield. If you could travel to any point in time, where would you go and why? I would want to travel back in time to when my parents were growing up. That way I could really see if all those times they have said “back when I was your age…” were true or not. |
