Where: PNC Arena
Tickets: SOLD OUT
Price: $200 ($115 is tax deductible), and all proceeds benefit the Kids 'N Community Foundation

Join us for the 9th Annual Casino Night and Wine Tasting presented by PNC, the signature fundraiser for the Kids ‘N Community Foundation, on Saturday, February 1.

Spend an evening of fun and excitement with Hurricanes players, coaches, broadcasters and front office executives. Casino Night and Wine Tasting will include wine tasting stations from local wine vendors and non-cash prize casino games such as poker, blackjack, roulette and craps.

Hurricanes players will act as dealers during the event, and the team’s coaches and front-office executives will share in the evening. The night includes a full-service food buffet and open bar and features a silent and live auction.

The silent auction includes nearly 100 items, highlighted by the popular “player baskets,” assembled by each player with their “favorite things.” The live auction will include as many as 10 items, headlined by the “Trip with the Team.” The 2013 Casino Night and Wine Tasting raised more than $276,000 for local, non-profit children’s organizations. The Kids ‘N Community Foundation strives to meet the health and education needs of underserved youth in our community through programming and financial assistance to local, non-profit children’s organizations.  The Foundation has funded scholarship programs, youth hockey, educational and literacy efforts, children’s health programs, the arts, and other youth-related initiatives. In 2012-13, the Kids ‘N Community Foundation awarded $436,600 to 26 different children’s charities and foundations. Annually, the Foundation provides cash and in-kind contributions of more than $1 million to charitable and educational programs in North Carolina. This fall, the Foundation awarded $300,000 in large GOAL grants to Boys and Girls Clubs of Wake County, Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC, InterAct of Wake County, Marbles Kids Museum, Triangle Family Services and YMCA of the Triangle. Funds raised from the 9th Annual Casino Night and Wine Tasting will help support the Foundation’s spring grant cycle. Each member of the Hurricanes organization is actively involved in the community, and the Hurricanes take great pride in the ability to have a positive impact in the state.
