Join us for the 16th annual Kids 'N Community Foundation Golf Tournament on September 22, hosted at the prestigious Prestonwood Country Club in Cary. There are limited sponsorship and participation opportunities available for the tournament, which is one of the Foundation's signature fundraising events.

Spend a day on the course with Hurricanes players, coaches, executive management and broadcasters as you take on 18 holes and challenge other participants in on-course games. Each registered golfer will receive a gift bag valued at over $250, food and beverage on the course and at the post-tournament reception and a tax receipt for contribution made.

Prior to the tournament, participants and a guest are invited to a Hurricanes preseason game. Following the game will be a pairings party at the arena club restaurant, where foursomes will find out what Hurricanes celebrity will join them at the tournament. The party includes an open bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres and a chance to bid on exclusive silent auction items. At the post-tournament reception, participants will enjoy food and beverage while prizes are awarded to the tournament’s top teams and on-course game winners.

The 2013 Kids ‘N Community Foundation golf tournament raised $80,000, part of the $582,000 the Foundation donated to 32 different children’s charities and organizations in 2013-14. The Kids ‘N Community Foundation’s level of giving, coupled with ticket and in-kind donations, ranked the Carolina Hurricanes seventh on the Triangle Business Journal’s list of largest corporate philanthropists. The Kids ‘N Community Foundation strives to meet the health and education needs of underserved youth in our community through programming and financial assistance to local, non-profit children’s organizations. The Foundation has funded scholarship programs, youth hockey, educational and literacy efforts, children’s health programs, the arts and other youth-related initiatives.
