Ron and his wife, Hayley, have three children: Alexa, Jaxon and Melana… They spend their summers in the Northeast and have two dogs… Ron started playing hockey at age 3 and his first youth team was in the Eastern Connecticut Hockey Organization… His parents were the biggest influence on his career… He was a fan of the Hartford Whalers growing up and his favorite players were Ray Bourque and Brian Leetch… His favorite television shows are The Newsroom and Ray Donovan and his favorite movie is Goodfellas… Ron’s first job was in construction… His favorite musical artists are Pearl Jam and Bruce Springsteen… He eats the same meal every game day: salad, pasta and chicken… His favorite thing to do away from the rink is golf and his favorite team outside of hockey is the New York Yankees… Ron’s favorite holiday is Thanksgiving… His favorite road arena is Madison Square Garden.
