Played for SaiPa Lappeenranta in Finland in 2004-05, ranking second among the team’s defensemen in scoring with 19 points (7g, 12a) in 53 games... Prior to going to Europe, spent four years with Boston College of Hockey East, totaling 98 points (24g, 74a) and 122 penalty minutes in 144 career games... Notched 31 points (6g, 25a) during his junior season, earning Hockey East Second All-Star Team and NCAA East Second All-American Team recognition...
