CAREER
Was 24-5-6 with a 2.37 goals-against average and three shutouts in 35 career ECHL games entering the 2008-09 season... Had appeared in one American Hockey League (AHL) game with Albany, allowing five goals... Signed a one-year contract with Carolina on 6/6/08... Prior to returning to North America, was 48-52-12 with a 2.98 goals-against average and eight shutouts with Kloten, Ambri and Basel during four seasons in the Swiss League from 2003-2007... Spent three seasons playing in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) for Victoriaville, tallying a record of 50-39-7 with a 3.45 goals-against average and three shutouts in 107 games... Represented Switzerland at the World Junior Championships in 2003 and 2004... Earned a silver medal with Switzerland at the 2001 World Junior Under-18 Championships in Finland.

2007-08: Spent the majority of the season playing in the ECHL for Las Vegas and Charlotte... Was 24-5-6 with a 2.37 goals-against average and three shutouts in 35 ECHL regular-season games, 33 of which came with the Las Vegas Wranglers... Also played in one AHL game with Albany, registering an 0-1 record with a 5.07 goals-against average... Ranked tied for fourth in the ECHL in wins (24), tied for sixth in goals-against average (2.37) and sixth in save percentage (.921) in leading Las Vegas to the Pacific Division title... Was named the RBC Financial Group’s ECHL Saver of the Month for November, and represented the National Conference at the 2008 ECHL All-Star Game... Appeared in two games for Las Vegas during the postseason, going 1-0 with a 2.48 goals-against average as the Wranglers advanced to the Kelly Cup Finals before falling to the Cincinnati Cyclones in six games.
