2003-04: Led OHL defensemen in assists (65) and points (76)… Ranked second among Kingston skaters in those categories.

2004-05: Spent his final season of junior hockey with London, and ranked tied for second among OHL defensemen in goals (23) and third among league blueliners in points (62)… Notched five goals and 10 assists (15 points) in 12 games to help London capture the 2005 Memorial Cup championship… Completed his five-year Ontario Hockey League (OHL) career with 234 points (47g, 187a) and 224 penalty minutes in 311 regular-season games with Ottawa, Kingston and London and 25 points (7g, 18a) in 38 career OHL playoff games.

2005-06: Split his first professional season between Hartford of the American Hockey League (AHL) and Charlotte of the ECHL… Tallied three points (1g, 2a) in eight AHL games and 25 points (4g, 21a) in 59 ECHL contests… Had one assist in three Kelly Cup (ECHL) playoff games for the Checkers.

2006-07: Spent the entire season in the ECHL, totaling 32 points (4g, 28a) in 45 games with Charlotte and Columbia.

2007-08: Recorded 21 points (7g, 14a) in 23 ECHL games with Columbia and Elmira before signing with Albany (AHL)… Was ECHL Player of the Week for the week from 12/3-12/9… Led ECHL defensemen in scoring prior to making the jump to the AHL, and was named to the American Conference’s starting lineup for the 2008 ECHL All-Star Game… Made his AHL season debut with Albany at Bridgeport (12/16) after he was signed along with six other Elmira skaters when a flu bug left the River Rats shorthanded… Went on to notch 15 points (4g, 11a) in 42 games for the Rats and led Albany in playoff scoring with three goals and
three assists (6 points)… Netted a goal and earned a pair of assists in his Calder Cup playoff debut vs.
Philadelphia (4/16)… Scored a pair of goals in Game 3 at Philadelphia (4/24).

2008-09: Completed his fourth professional season, making his NHL debut with Carolina... Served two stints with Carolina, totaling two assists and averaging 12:37 of ice time per game in eight contests... assisted on Samsonov’s power-play goal at PHX (2/7)... Earned his first NHL point with an assist on Corvo’s power-play goal at VAN (2/3)... Made his NHL debut vs. PHI (12/11)... Led Albany defensemen in points (36) and assists (33), skating in 58 games on the American Hockey League level... Had a four-game AHL assist streak from 11/29-12/6, including a two-assist outing vs. Norfolk (12/5)... Earned an assist and was a game-high (+4) at Hershey (1/14)...
