Andrej is single and spends his summers in Prievidza, Slovakia… His nickname is Reji… His charitable involvement includes helping less fortunate children afford to play hockey in his hometown… He was four years old when he first started skating and his parents were the biggest influence on his career… The best advice Andrej has received is to “look in the mirror first, and don’t point fingers at others”… His favorite television show is Entourage, favorite movie is The Untouchables, favorite actor is Chris Tucker and favorite book is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho… His first job was helping out at a bakery… His favorite food is sushi, favorite vacation spots are Croatia and Spain and favorite website is lokaltv.sk… His biggest game-day habit is a good nap and his favorite former teammate is Thomas Vanek… His favorite sports outside of hockey are soccer, tennis and beach volleyball… The person Andrej would most like to meet is Mike Tyson… His favorite road city is Los Angeles and favorite road arena is Madison Square Garden… His favorite thing about playing in the NHL is “doing what I love” and his most memorable hockey moment was capturing the silver medal at the 2012 IIHF World Championship  in Helsinki.
