Had three goals and 14 assists (17 points) in 98 career games with Boston College of Hockey East entering his senior season in 2008-09... Recorded his first collegiate point with an assist in a 3-2 win against New Hampshire (11/1/05)... Netted his first college goal in a 5-1 victory against Princeton (12/31/05)... Prior to attending Boston College, played for the New England Junior Falcons of the Eastern Junior Hockey League (EJHL)... Earned all-EJHL second-team honors in 2004-05... Was also named his team’s Player of the Year and Defenseman of the Year in 2004-05 after leading all Junior Falcons defensemen with 40 points (12g, 28a) in 50 games... Was a member of the U.S. Under-18 Select Team that finished fourth at the 2004 Under-18 Junior World Cup in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

2007-08: Set collegiate career highs in games played (43), assists (7) and points (8) during his junior season at Boston College, helping the Eagles capture the 2008 NCAA Championship... Led all Eagles defensemen in plus/minus (+22)... Played in 42 consecutive games to close the season after missing Boston College’s opener against Michigan (10/12)...
