2012-13 SEASON
Appeared in his first NHL season with the Hurricanes, totaling 20 penalty minutes in nine games played… His four fighting majors ranked tied for second on the team… Earned nine points (4g, 5a) and led Charlotte with 124 penalty minutes in 61 games on the American Hockey League (AHL) level… Led the Checkers in penalty minutes, marking his fifth consecutive season with more than 100 penalty minutes… Was also his fifth season as an alternate captain for Charlotte… Missed nine AHL games due to injury (1/4-1/23)… Recalled from Charlotte on 4/10 and made his NHL debut at WSH (4/11), sparring with Matt Hendricks in his first NHL fight… Dropped the gloves in each of his first three NHL games, also battling Gregory Campbell vs. BOS (4/13) and Zack Smith at OTT (4/16)… Sparred with B.J. 2004-05: Totaled 39 points (13g, 26a) in 69 games during his rookie season in the QMJHL with Chicoutimi… Earned four points (2g, 2a) in 17 QMJHL playoff games as Chicoutimi advanced to the QMJHL semifinals before falling to Sidney Crosby and Rimouski.

2005-06: Netted 15 goals and had 29 assists (44 points) in 60 games for Chicoutimi… Earned three points (1g, 2a) in nine playoff games as Chicoutimi reached the second round.

2006-07: Posted 22 goals and 35 assists (57 points) in 62 games during his final junior season with Chicoutimi… Joined Albany (AHL) at the conclusion of his junior season and made his professional debut on 4/4… Notched his first AHL goal with the River Rats on 4/11… Made his professional playoff debut, skating in all five of Albany's playoff games vs. Hershey.

2007-08: Completed his first full professional season with Albany (AHL) in 2007-08, notching 23 points (11g, 12a) in 64 games… Ranked tied for sixth on the team in goals (11)… Earned two assists in seven Calder Cup playoff games as Albany fell in seven games to Philadelphia.

2008-09: Totaled 19 points (7g, 12a) in 55 games for the River Rats before having his season cut short when he suffered an injury in Albany’s bus crash on 2/19… Ranked tied for third on the team in penalty minutes (132)… Scored his first goal of the season, Albany’s first five-on-five goal of the year, vs. Binghamton (10/22)… Posted two assists vs. Syracuse (11/21)… Earned two helpers vs. Norfolk (12/5)… Played his 100th career AHL game at Norfolk (12/19)… Recorded his 100th penalty minute of the season vs. Rochester (1/24)… Scored his seventh goal of the season and recorded his 200th penalty minute of his career at Lowell (2/18).

2009-10: Scored 22 points, including a career-high 14 goals and 171 penalty minutes in 76 games for Albany… Scored his first goal of the season vs. Lowell (11/6)… Had a three-game assist streak from 12/19 at Syracuse to 12/26 vs. Wilkes- Barre/Scranton… Received a five-minute major and a game misconduct for elbowing forward Patrick Maroon early in the first period vs. Adirondack (12/30)… Received a three-game suspension from the league… Had a three-game goal streak from 1/30 at Hershey 2/5 at Binghamton… Scored his career-high 12th goal of the season vs. Portland (2/19)… Played in his 200th career AHL game vs. Adirondack (4/3)… Skated in all eight of Albany’s Calder Cup playoff games, compiling 13 penalty minutes.
