Is in his fourth professional season after signing as an undrafted free agent with Carolina on 7/21/06… Had 61 points (30g, 31a) in 168 career American Hockey League (AHL) games with Albany entering 2009-10… Set AHL career highs in games played (74), goals (11), assists (16), points (27) and penalty minutes (151) in 2007-08... Also played 24 games with Florida of the ECHL in 2006-07, notching 18 points (10g, 8a)… Finished his junior career with Owen Sound with 78 goals and 54 assists for 132 points in 240 games… Ranked third in the OHL in goal-scoring with 53 goals during the 2005-06 season, and was named to the OHL’s First All-Star Team… Also received the Dan Snyder Memorial Trophy as the 2005-06 OHL Humanitarian of the Year… Was voted Most Improved Player in the 2005-06 OHL Western Conference Coaches Poll and finished second in that poll’s voting for Most Underrated Player and Most Dangerous Player in the Goal Area.
