Completed his second professional season with Albany, notching a career-high 16 goals while skating in all 80 of Albany’s games... Led the River Rats in plus/minus (+18)... Scored his first goal of the season vs. Rochester (10/10)... Extended his point streak to three games with a two-point night (1g, 1a) vs. Hershey (12/11)... Scored the overtime, game-winner vs. Bridgeport (1/16)... Had consecutive multi-assist games at Rochester (1/29) and at Hershey (1/30)... Established a new career high with his 14th goal of the season vs. Binghamton (3/2)... Scored his 15th goal of the season vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (3/13)... Played in all eight of Albany’s Calder Cup playoff games, scored four goals and added an assist... Scored two goals in his professional playoff debut vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (4/14)... Had his second consecutive two-point night with a goal and an assist in Game 2 vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (4/16).

CAREER
Signed to a two-year contract with Carolina on 4/16/08... Had yet to miss a game in his AHL career entering 2010-11, totaling 75 points (29g, 46a) and 64 penalty minutes in 160 career AHL games with Albany... Completed his collegiate career with Clarkson (ECACHL) in 2008, totaling 124 points (52g, 72a) in 150 career games... Prior to his collegiate career, played for Oakville of the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League (OPJHL)... Had 79 points (33g, 46a) in 45 games in 2003-04 and was named an OPJHL All-Star and the league’s Fastest Skater... Was selected as Bill Harrison Most Valuable Player for Clarkson in 2006... Was also an ECAC Third-Team All-Star and a member of the ECAC All-Academic Team in 2006... Served as Clarkson’s team captain in 2006-07 and ranked second on the team in scoring with 39 points (18g, 21a) in 36 games... Was named a 2007 RBK All-American (Second Team) and an ECAC First-Team All-Star after leading Clarkson to a 25-9-5 record, the ECAC tournament championship and the number one seed in the NCAA’s East Regional... Was also named to the 2006-07 ECAC All-Academic team... Was named the ECAC’s Best Defensive Forward in 2007-08, as he captained Clarkson to the regular-season conference title and its second consecutive NCAA Tournament berth...
