CAREER
Had nine points (5g, 4a) and 22 penalty minutes in 70 career AHL games with Albany entering 2009-10... Signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Hurricanes on 5/22/08… Completed his four-year junior hockey career in 2007-08, totaling 178 points (69g, 109a) and 120 penalty minutes in 210 regular-season games with London, Sarnia and Guelph of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL)… Had 10 points (3g, 7a) in 18 career OHL playoff games… Ranked fourth among Sarnia skaters in scoring (50 points) during his first full season of major junior hockey in 2005-06… Was second among Sarnia (OHL) skaters in scoring (81 points) and first in assists (52) during the 2006-07 season, helping the Sting return to the playoffs just two years after posting the worst record in the OHL’s Western Conference… Split his final year of junior hockey between Sarnia and Guelph of the OHL, totaling 47 points (14g, 33a) in 69 games.

2008-09: Completed his first professional season, spending most of the year with Albany (AHL)... Notched nine points (5g, 4a) in 70 games for the River Rats... Made his AHL debut vs. Bridgeport (10/11)... Netted his first professional goal with a power-play tally at Bridgeport (10/18)... Was assigned to Florida (ECHL) on 11/24, and played one game for the Everblades, tallying a goal and an assist in the game... Was recalled back to Albany on 11/27... Earned his first AHL assist vs. Rochester (12/27)... Scored the game-winning goal in the shootout for Albany at Providence (3/20).
