Signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Hurricanes on 4/10/07, and made his professional hockey debut with Albany in the Calder Cup playoffs against Hershey in 2007... Completed his Ontario Hockey League (OHL) career having scored 103 goals and earned 150 assists (253 points) in 243 regular-season games, all with Kingston... Was a two-time member of the Ontario Under-17 team at the World Hockey Challenge... Participated in the 2006 Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game...
