Is in his first professional season after completing a three-year Ontario Hockey League (OHL) career with 101 points (38g, 63a) and 237 penalty minutes in 194 games with Mississauga and Sudbury… Was selected by Carolina in the fourth round of the 2012 NHL Draft and signed to a three-year, entry-level contract on 12/18/13… Played for his hometown team, Stouffville, prior to beginning his OHL career, earning 19 points (6g, 13a) in 40 games in 2010-11… Was Stouffville’s third-leading scorer with 13 points (2g, 11a) in 19 games, as the Spirit reached the OJHL semifinals before falling to eventual champion Wellington… Was selected by Mississauga St. Michael’s in the fifth round (85th overall) of the 2010 OHL Priority Draft… Ranked third among Mississauga defensemen in scoring during his rookie season in the OHL in 2011-12, totaling 19 points (6g, 13a) in 68 games… Made his OHL debut at Sudbury (9/23/11)… Earned his first OHL point with an assist vs. Sault Ste.
