Led Sault Ste. Marie (OHL) in goals (31), assists (60) and points (91) in his second season with the Greyhounds… Ranked third in the OHL in assists and tied for ninth in points… Had 24 multi-point games, including six multi-goal games and 15 multi-assist efforts… Registered a pair of nine-game point streaks, from 10/5-10/25 (6g, 11a) and 11/17-12/7 (3g, 12a)… The latter was also a nine-game assist streak, tied for the sixth-longest assist streak in the OHL in 2013-14… Played for the Hurricanes in the Traverse City rookie tournament in September, leading the tournament in scoring… Registered four points (1g, 3a) in his OHL season debut vs. Sudbury (9/27)… Notched his first career OHL hat trick vs. Barrie (9/28)… Recorded a career-best, five-point game (2g, 3a) at Peterborough (10/19)… Had multiple points in four consecutive games from 10/19-10/25, totaling 12 points (4g, 8a) in that span… Scored a goal and added three assists (4 points) vs. Niagara (11/30)… Had his sixth three-assist game of the season at Saginaw (2/8)… Scored a goal and added three helpers at Windsor (3/9)… Totaled six points (2g, 4a) in nine playoff games, as the Greyhounds topped Owen Sound before being swept by Erie in the second round… Joined Charlotte (AHL) at the end of his junior campaign, and made his pro debut at Rockford (4/19).

Signed with the Hurricanes as a free agent on 8/22/13… Had 142 points (57g, 85a) in 128 career Ontario Hockey League (OHL) games with Sault Ste. Marie entering the 2014-15 season… Has represented Russia in a number of international tournaments… Won a gold medal at the 2012 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge, scoring a hat trick, including a shorthanded penalty shot, to lead Russia to a 7-4 win against the United States in the title game… Was named to the tournament’s All-Star Team… Had four points (3g, 1a) and was plus-5 for Russia at the 2013 U18 World Junior Championship… Also played for Russia at the 2012 U18 Five Nations Cup and the 2012 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament… Spent the 2011-12 season with CKSA Moscow of the Russian Junior League (MHL), totaling 34 points (19g, 15a) and registering a plus-17 rating… Had four points (2g, 2a) in 15 MHL playoff games, as CKSA Moscow advanced to the 2012 Kharlamov Cup Final before falling to Omsk… Selected by Sault Ste. Marie in the first round (12th overall) of 2012 CHL Import Draft… Completed his first season in the OHL with Sault Ste.
